Elevated serum manganese superoxide dismutase in acute leukemias

Serum manganese-superoxide dismutase (Mn-SOD) levels are elevated in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL) patients. Decreased Mn-SOD levels correlate with leukemia regression, suggesting its potential as a disease activity marker.
