[The quality of medical experts' reports]
1Aus der AXA Service AG.
Abstract:
Medical experts' reports make a considerable contribution towards decision-making both for the social insurance system and for the private health insurance industry. Only high-quality expert statements from persons who are also familiar with the legal conditions of the commissioning parties in each case can do justice to such a responsibility. Hitherto there have been only rudimentary approaches to evaluating the quality of medical experts' reports in a standardised manner, although shortcomings in this sector are being increasingly reported. The following article aims to convey the basic requirements for quality-assured service-provision and presents the fundamentals of quality assurance for a medical service-provision.
