In France, smoking addiction provokes 60,000 deaths every year and is one of the first avoidable perinatal causes of mortality and morbidity. The alarming extension of the epidemic of the feminine addiction to smoking has increased the number of complications (infertilities, ectopic pregnancy, premature abortions, premature delivery, intra-uterine growth retardation).
