Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the rate of extensor tendon ruptures associated with dorsal implants for distal radius fractures.
  • To demonstrate that dorsal implants do not lead to a high incidence of tendon ruptures.

  • Retrospective analysis of 389 patients treated with the dorsal Pi Plate.

  • The study supports the dorsal Pi Plate as a safe and effective treatment for distal intraarticular radius fractures.
