Summary

Angiomyofibroblastoma (AMF) is a rare vulvovaginal tumor. This case highlights that AMF can occur in post-menopausal women and present outside the vulva.

Background:

Angiomyofibroblastoma (AMF) is a rare, benign soft tissue tumor.
It predominantly affects the vulvovaginal region in pre-menopausal women.
First described in 1992, AMF requires careful differential diagnosis.

Observation:

A post-menopausal woman presented with a rapidly growing, painless vaginal tumor.
The tumor had been present for two months.
This presentation is atypical for the typical demographic and location of AMF.

Findings:

The case confirmed a diagnosis of Angiomyofibroblastoma.
The tumor's location within the vagina, rather than the vulva, was notable.
Histopathological review confirmed the benign nature of the soft tissue tumor.
