Routine chest radiography after permanent pacemaker implantation: is it necessary?

Routine chest X-rays (CXRs) after permanent pacemaker implantation are not essential for all patients. This study found that CXRs rarely influence management and are often unnecessary for uncomplicated pacemaker cases.
