This study details the first pediatric case of ectopic prostate tissue found outside the urinary tract. The scrotal mass in an 11-year-old boy contained prostate tissue, suggesting a developmental anomaly.

  • Peanut agglutinin staining highlighted specific epithelial cell membranes within the ectopic prostate tissue.
