[A new simplified model of discrimination learning in mice]

A new technically simple and procedurally easy model of discrimination learning in mice has been proposed. The model allows to reach a quick rate of learning; to use the various characteristics of objects (form, color, size, etc) within the same sensory modality as a conditional stimulus; to transfer discrimination from one signal characteristic to the other (for instance from a color to a size); and to assess behaviour in a situation closely approached to conditions of the natural environment.
