Summary
Ovarian adenosarcomas, rare tumors, were analyzed for CD10, estrogen receptors (ER), and progesterone receptors (PR). Findings indicate these tumors may be hormone-sensitive and express CD10.

- Immunohistochemical analysis was performed on four primary ovarian adenosarcoma cases.
- Three cases were ovarian adenosarcomas without sarcomatous overgrowth (OAS), and one was an ovarian adenosarcoma with sarcomatous overgrowth (OAS-S).
Findings:
- The malignant stromal component of two OAS cases showed positivity for both ER and PR.
- The OAS-S case was positive for ER only.
- CD10 was present in the sarcomatous cells of all three OAS cases but absent in the OAS-S case.
Implications:
- The identification of hormone-sensitive disease in ovarian adenosarcomas has significant clinical implications.
- Ovarian adenosarcomas are now recognized as CD10-positive ovarian tumors.
