Summary
Neurophysiologic abnormalities are common in glutaric aciduria type I (GA1). Electroencephalogram (EEG), visual evoked potential (VEP), and brain-stem auditory evoked response (BAER) revealed abnormalities in children with GA1, aiding in detecting subtle cerebral dysfunction.
