Summary

Supracricoid laryngectomy (SCL) offers significant functional benefits for laryngeal cancer patients, with good oncological outcomes and manageable complications. This organ-preserving surgery demonstrates satisfactory voice and swallowing results, making it a viable alternative to total laryngectomy.
