Electronic nose shows promise for detecting early-stage lung cancer

A simple, non-invasive screening test for lung cancer? Not yet, but investigators are excited about new evidence that signs of lung cancer can actually be picked up from breath samples. The hope is that a simple, inexpensive breath test may eventually hold the key to detecting lung cancer at an early, highly treatable stage.
