Knowledge about Crohn's disease is limited and many misconceptions about the disease continue to exist. After many years of research the cause and the cure of Crohn's disease remain unknown. This article provides an overview of the disease, treatment modalities, and nursing interventions to implement for the patient with Crohn's disease.
