Summary

Despite advances in diagnosing and treating venous thromboembolism (VTE), including pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep venous thrombosis (DVT), many patients remain undiagnosed. Improved patient history assessment and biological markers are needed to enhance VTE detection rates.
