Increasing the gamma count threshold for sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy from 10% to 50% significantly decreases accuracy and increases the false-negative rate in breast cancer staging. A 10% threshold maintains acceptable accuracy and false-negative rates for SLN biopsy.
