  • A dynamic osteosynthesis system (MD-DOS) was utilized for gradual mandibular elongation.
  • The distraction protocol involved a 7-day latency period followed by 14 days of distraction at 0.33 mm thrice daily.

Findings:

  • Successful elongation of the mandible was achieved.
  • The patient experienced a satisfactory improvement in facial profile.
  • Optimal occlusion was attained post-treatment.
