High (HMW) and low molecular weight (LMW) glucose polymer solutions did not affect substrate oxidation rates during exercise. Carbohydrate structure, osmolality, or viscosity did not impact exogenous glucose oxidation, with oxidation limited to approximately 1.0 g/min.
