Summary
This case report details a rare giant epidermoid cyst, a common skin cyst that unusually grew to 28 cm. Surgical excision was successful due to its well-defined capsule.

Background:

- The mass had enlarged over 12 years, reaching significant dimensions.

- Histopathologic examination confirmed the mass as an epidermoid cyst.
- The giant cyst measured 28 x 14 x 12 cm and possessed a distinct capsule.
Implications:
- Giant epidermoid cysts are rare but treatable with complete local excision.
- The presence of a well-defined capsule facilitates easy surgical removal.
