Background:

Benign neoplasms of the stomach are uncommon, presenting diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
Leiomyoblastomas, leiomyomas, and ganglioneuroblastomas represent rare subtypes of gastric tumors.

Observation:

The authors present a case series of five patients with benign gastric neoplasms.
The cases include two leiomyoblastomas, two leiomyomas, and one ganglioneuroblastoma.
Detailed review of the literature on these rare gastric tumors was performed.

Findings:

Anatomopathological, clinical, and therapeutic aspects of these rare gastric neoplasms are described.
Early diagnosis of benign gastric neoplasms is frequently difficult.
Surgical therapy is indicated for these conditions.
