Summary

Thiazolidinediones (TZDs) demonstrate significant anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting macrophage activation and reducing inflammatory markers. These findings suggest potential therapeutic applications beyond diabetes, including cardiovascular and rheumatic diseases.
