Dental assistants, radiology, and the Indiana Law

This article reviews the rules, regulations, and procedures which enable dental assistants to become radiology certified in Indiana. Dental assistants must participate in an American Dental Association (ADA)-accredited program or an Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH, formerly the Indiana State Board of Health)-approved on-the-job training program to qualify for the radiology certification examination.
