Improving seizure control in dogs with refractory epilepsy using gabapentin as an adjunctive agent

Adding gabapentin to phenobarbitone and/or potassium bromide therapy in dogs with refractory epilepsy increased seizure-free intervals. Some dogs became seizure-free, while others experienced improved recovery times after seizures.
