Ectopic ovary in the omentum.

Summary

A rare case of an ectopic ovary was discovered during a caesarean section when the right ovary was absent. This omental cyst was surgically removed and identified as the ectopic ovary, highlighting a unique embryological anomaly.

Background:

Congenital absence of an ovary is a rare condition.
Ovarian ectopia, where an ovary is found outside its normal anatomical position, is exceptionally uncommon.
