Summary

The high-carbohydrate/low-fat (HC) diet improved body composition by reducing fat mass and lipogenic gene expression compared to the low-carbohydrate/high-fat (LC) diet in rats. HC diets also enhanced insulin sensitivity.

Purpose of the Study:
