Background:

  • Traditional endoscopic forehead rejuvenation often uses multiple fixation points, including bone fixation, for eyebrow repositioning.
  • This study investigates an alternative approach using extensive release of eyebrow-retaining ligaments and single-point fascial suture without bone fixation.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To objectively evaluate short-term and 1-year postoperative changes in eyebrow position after endoscopic forehead surgery.
  • To assess the efficacy of single-point fascial fixation in eyebrow elevation.

Main Methods:

  • Analysis of preoperative and 1, 12-month postoperative photographs of 48 patients undergoing endoscopic forehead surgery.
  • Measurement of eyebrow position at the lateral canthus, midpupil, and medial canthus relative to a horizontal line.
