Summary
Thromboxane A(2) (TxA(2)) mimetic U-46619 causes ventricular arrhythmias in rabbits. This effect is TxA(2) receptor-mediated and independent of coronary blood flow or autonomic nerves, suggesting a direct cardiac effect.
