Abstract:
Infective aortitis and associated mycotic aneurysms are uncommon clinical entities and most reported cases are associated with Salmonella species. We report successful surgical and medical treatment of a mycotic aneurysm of the aorta which presented as acute pericarditis and may have been caused by Camplyobacter jejuni.
