Abstract:
This study shows magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to be a technique in the comprehensive diagnosis of peripheral carcinoma of the lung and in the determination of the extent of a tumor process in the chest. The paper specifies and systematizes the MRI signs of peripheral carcinoma of the lung, the signs of tumor invasion into the pleura, chest, and mediastinal structures. It also analyzes additional capacities of contrast enhancement.
