Summary

Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) significantly reduces retinal microvascular damage compared to traditional coronary artery bypass grafting with cardiopulmonary bypass (CABG-CPB). OPCAB also lowers markers of cerebral injury, suggesting a safer surgical approach.
