Abstract:
Shawnee Mission (Kan.) Medical Center's affiliated medical practice, Shawnee Mission Physicians Group, is developing an inexpensive, cost-effective solution for electronic patient charge capture. It helps physicians track their inpatient services and billable encounters, integrates with their medical practice information technology scheduling and billing systems, and can incorporate forthcoming hospital-based digital radiology viewing and an electronic medical record. Learn how the system works and how the technology benefits the two organizations.
