A rare case of combined intrauterine and tubal pregnancy was successfully managed. The patient delivered a healthy baby via cesarean section after surgical treatment for the ectopic pregnancy.

  • Pelvic ultrasonography revealed a viable intrauterine pregnancy and a left adnexal mass suggestive of ectopic pregnancy.

Findings:

  • Laparoscopic left salpingectomy was performed to remove the ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
  • The intrauterine pregnancy continued successfully to term.

Implications:

  • This case highlights the possibility of successful management of combined pregnancies.
  • Prompt surgical intervention for ectopic component can preserve intrauterine gestation.
  • Multidisciplinary care is essential for optimizing maternal and fetal outcomes.
