Summary

Solid-pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas is a rare, low-malignancy neoplasm. Complete surgical removal offers a good prognosis, as demonstrated in two distinct cases.

Background:

Solid-pseudopapillary tumor (SPOTT) of the pancreas is an uncommon pancreatic neoplasm.
SPOTT typically exhibits low malignant potential and an obscure etiology.
This tumor predominantly affects young women, with generally favorable outcomes post-resection.

Observation:

This report details two unique cases of SPOTT.
The cases presented with differing disease durations.
Both cases underwent complete surgical extirpation.

Findings:

Complete surgical removal is associated with a good prognosis for SPOTT.
The distinct disease durations in the reported cases highlight varied clinical presentations.
Histopathological analysis confirms the diagnosis of solid-pseudopapillary tumor.
