Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate a reduced CM volume protocol (50 mL with saline flush) for aortoiliac 16-MDCT angiography.
  • To compare CM enhancement with a standard protocol (100 mL).

Main Methods:

  • Forty-five patients underwent aortoiliac 16-MDCT angiography.
  • Group 1 received 100 mL CM; Group 2 received 50 mL CM with a 20 mL saline flush.
  • Quantitative analysis of aortoiliac attenuation and qualitative assessment of renal arteries.
