Background:

  • Lung hernias are uncommon, with cervical presentation occurring in approximately one-third of cases.
  • Cervical lung hernias can lead to significant patient discomfort, including neuralgic pain.

Observation:

  • This report details a rare instance of bilateral cervical lung hernia.
  • The patient presented with associated neuralgic pain, highlighting a potential complication of this condition.

Findings:

  • Surgical repair was successfully achieved using a combination of bovine pericardium and biological glue.
  • This approach effectively addressed the hernia and alleviated the patient's neuralgic pain.

Implications:

  • This case highlights a viable surgical technique for managing bilateral cervical lung hernias.
