Characterizing hernia centers in the United States: what defines a hernia center?

Laparoscopic ventral hernia repair (LVHR) is a safe and effective procedure, with a 98% success rate and a low recurrence rate of 4.7% in difficult cases. This minimally invasive approach offers a viable option for patients with complex hernias.
