Summary

Electroacupuncture (Ea) at the Hoku acupoint, but not Tsusanli, affects circulatory dynamics in rats. Low-frequency Ea causes a tonic pressor effect, while high-frequency Ea has a phasic effect, both mediated by adrenergic pathways.
