Abstract:
This note describes a simple electronic spreadsheet 'look-up tables' tool (RADCONTAB version 1.0), developed by British Nuclear Fuels plc (BNFL) to facilitate the radiological assessment of land affected by existing 'historic' radioactive contamination on UK Nuclear Licensed sites. The specification and design of the tool have been subject to open consultation and peer review. The tool with accompanying guide is now freely available on the internet.
