Background:

A patient with angle closure glaucoma underwent bilateral trabeculectomies.
Post-operative complications arose in both eyes, including intraocular hypertension and shallow anterior chambers.

Observation:

The right eye developed these complications six months post-surgery, with an intumescent cataract.
The left eye exhibited similar signs two weeks after its surgery.
