[Combined palliative treatment of lung cancer using endoscopic methods]

The review is devoted to using endoscopic methods as a stage of a combined palliative treatment of inoperable lung cancer and elucidates the theoretical and practical aspects of using the main up-to-date methods of acting on the tumor process during the endoscopic interventions: electro-, radio, cryosurgical, laser, stenting, brachytherapy, conservative methods. Advantages and shortcomings of these methods are discussed as well as indications and contraindications to their application, possible complications and methods of their elimination and prevention.
