Non-invasive ventilation corrects alveolar hypoventilation during spinal anesthesia

Non-invasive ventilation effectively treated hypoxemia and hypoventilation in a patient with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease undergoing surgery. This intervention improved diaphragmatic excursion and respiratory function during spinal anesthesia.
