Summary

Vacuum Assisted Closure (V.A.C.) therapy offers significant cost savings for treating chronic wounds like pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. Switching to V.A.C. therapy could save German sick funds approximately Euro 0.7 billion annually.
