A rare case of dependence on pemoline

This case study highlights a patient with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) who developed dependence on pemoline. The findings suggest a history of stimulant abuse increases the risk of developing psychostimulant dependence during ADHD treatment.
