Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects 35% of men with Peyronie's disease (PD). Arteriogenic ED is common, especially when it precedes PD, while normal hemodynamics are more likely if ED develops after PD onset.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the erectile function status in men presenting with Peyronie's disease.
  • To compare the demographics and comorbidities of patients with PD, with and without ED.
  • To analyze the hemodynamic profiles of patients with combined PD and ED.

Main Methods:

  • Patient demographics (age, PD duration, deformity, comorbidities) were compared between groups with and without ED.
  • Patients with ED underwent dynamic infusion cavernosometry/cavernosography (DICC).

    • Site-specific vascular leak is an uncommon cause of ED in PD, primarily observed when ED postdates PD onset.
    • Arteriogenic ED is the leading vascular etiology in PD, especially in older patients with comorbidities.
