Cardiomyopathy is frequently observed in patients with motor neuron diseases (MND), including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and hereditary spastic paraplegias (HSP). Routine cardiac evaluations are recommended for all MND patients, even without traditional risk factors.
