[Effect of hydrocortisone on angiotensin converting enzyme activity in the rat lungs]
Abstract:
Experiments in vivo have shown that hydrocortisone in some doses increases the activity of the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) in the rat lungs and restores a lowered level of ACE activity in the lungs of adrenalectomized rats. Aldosterone administration causes no similar effects.
