Summary

Cluster bean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) primarily produces amides, not ureides, in its xylem sap. This study re-evaluates nitrogen metabolism in legumes, focusing on amide vs. ureide production in cluster bean and pigeonpea nodules.
