Summary

This study reports two rare cases of perforating lichen nitidus in young women. Perforating lichen nitidus is an unusual skin condition characterized by shiny papules, sometimes with umbilication, confirmed by histopathology.

  • Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of lichen nitidus in both cases.
  • Crucially, the biopsies revealed characteristic features of perforation, validating the rare variant.
