Preventing sensitization with mycophenolate mofetil in a pediatric kidney recipient

Prophylactic use of mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) in a pediatric renal transplant patient prevented panel reactive antibody (PRA) formation. This immunosuppressive strategy enabled successful transplantation by suppressing antibody development.
