The need for novel therapeutic strategies for migraine and other primary headaches is well recognized.
Despite uncertainties in underlying mechanisms and molecular targets, significant advancements have occurred in migraine treatment over the last decade.

To explore therapeutic strategies targeting the trigeminal ganglion for migraine treatment.
To identify compounds that abort migraine attacks by targeting specific underlying mechanisms.

Investigating drugs that limit phenomena promoted by trigeminal ganglion neuron activation.
