Vaccinia DNA topoisomerase I (TOPO) vectors, commonly used for specific cloning methods, can actually be employed as universal cloning vectors. These versatile TOPO vectors efficiently clone various DNA fragment types, including blunt ends, sticky ends, and PCR products with or without a 3' A-tail.
